Job Description

Our Local Restoration Company is seeking talented and experienced estimators with a minimum of 5 years of estimating experience. We are looking for candidates with past water damage, mold damage, construction, and related experience in the restoration and disaster reconstruction industry.

They must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen. Applicants MUST be experienced working with Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water damage, fire damage, mold damage, and construction needs.

Strong preference for property insurance adjusting background and 5 years of estimating experience – scoping and writing estimates. Experience in the construction industry is REQUIRED.

Experience

  • Property Estimating – 5 years
  • Construction-related experience – 5 years
  • Xactimate experience – 5 years

License or Certification

  • Xactimate experience (REQUIRED)
  • PC literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Valid FL Driver’s License
  • IICRC Certification or State Remediating License

  • Creating labor estimates for any project
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
  • Managing bids from vendors and contractors
  • Presenting prepared estimates to management and property managers
  • Compiling and recording actual costs
